Our friends are always telling us that our sunscreens smell good enough to eat—which is either a ringing endorsement of Vanilla Coco or a reflection of how hungry we were on that El Cajon Mountain hike last week. Either way, we've been inspired.
Voila this super sweet treat, a riff on our best-selling Citrus Cooler Mineral Sunscreen! This *refreshing* waterside snack is easy to make, a crowd pleaser for all ages, and guaranteed to keep you cool during summer adventuring ... our only request is that no one (we repeat, no one) actually eats the sunscreen. 🙌
What you'll need:
- Orange Juice
- Orange
- Lemon
- Lime
- Water
- Popsicle Mold
Step 1:
Start by prepping your fruits by cutting them into small slices (make sure they're small enough to fit into your popsicle mold!) 🍊
Step 2:
Next, grab a measuring cup and mix 1/2 a cup of Orange Juice with 1/2 a cup of water. 💧
Step 3:
Then, arrange your sliced fruits in the popsicle mold and pour the liquid mixture until all of your fruits are covered. 🙌
Step 4:
Place your filled popsicle mold into the freezer for 3-4 hours or until solidified.❄️
Step 5:
Once your freezer pops are ready, grab your Citrus Cooler Mineral Sunscreen and head for the pool (or beach, or bike, or paddleboat ... you get the idea)! Most importantly: remember to pair your pops with a steady sunscreen schedule, keeping your skin safe and sunburn-free by reapplying every 2 hours at minimum. 😉
